Playwright, Storybook or any tool that produces PNG files — your pipeline, your browsers, your versions. Deterministic by design.
The CLI hashes every screenshot and uploads only what changed. Identical images are never transferred twice.
Your pull request gets a pass/fail check. Changed snapshots are reviewed side-by-side with a pixel-diff overlay, then approved as the new baseline.

Frequently asked questions
Is Difora a Chromatic or Percy alternative?
Yes. Difora covers the same job — screenshot-based visual regression testing with baselines, pixel diffs, pull-request checks and a review workflow — but your CI renders the screenshots and everything is stored and processed exclusively in the EU by an EU company.
Where are my screenshots stored?
Only on EU-owned infrastructure in EU data centres: object storage, database, backups and logs. No US subprocessor touches the screenshot path, and you can delete everything at any time.
Which tools does it work with?
Anything that produces PNG files in CI: Playwright, Storybook, Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium. The CLI uploads only screenshots that changed and adds a pass/fail check to your GitHub pull request.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — 5,000 snapshots per month and one project, no credit card required. Paid plans start at €29 per month (excl. VAT) for teams and agencies.
Do you sign a data processing agreement (DPA)?
Yes. Business customers get a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR with an EU-only subprocessor list. Difora is operated by Missus GmbH, Graz, Austria.
